This is the first full test try on for a Darth Malgus costume. Made entirely from scratch by myself at our workshop in Ireland and filmed on a 'Red MX' camera by my good friend Kamil Krawczak. These film services are available from info@kamilphotography.com. Please contact Kamil for a quote. You can also see updates of my other builds on Twitter- @darthserberus
**Additional Info Added**
Firstly there are absolutely NO CGI enhancements to the vid. We would love to have added some saber fx to the blade but this was purely a camera/costume test.
MX Red camera was hired just for the day to film some test footage for another project.
With a few hours remaining we decided shoot Malgus as I had just finished the costume the night before, so everything was very last minute. We were also limited to the amount of movement as it was filmed in a small corner of the workshop with a black backdrop that was far too small. Hence all the posing and no action!! lol The jerky head movement is from when I'm speaking some script, as we originally intended to dub a voiceover in post production.
The mask is a silicone CFX Geezer mask that was heavily modified by both CFX and myself. The work CFX did on the mask was outstanding and I highly recommend them. It was only after trying it on that i decided to modify and paint it further.
The saber is an Ultrasabers 'Malice' and due to the high quality of the camera the saber does not outshine everything as it would do in reality.

I learnt my skills working in the film industry for 20 years but now I mainly make private commissions. But if JJ came calling I could definitely be tempted back! ;)
